Elizabeth de Monchaux - Sculptures

"Phenomena" 1991-1993. mild steel and lead. diameter of pieces 0.4m - 0.6m.These sculptures began my exploration of the 12 pointed star shape, moving on from the work I had been doing in lead, combining with the harder steel. What I liked about the shape was that it had no base, each object I made seemed like it could move off independently from the maker.
